Reducing air pollution from traffic

          In Amsterdam, cars are responsible from producing more than half of the city's air pollution. The pollution causes acid rain, global warming and human health problems, such as breathing difficulties and asthma. Amsterdam city council is banning HGVs from the city centre, implementing speed bumps and speed limits and building an underground system. People are encouraged to use bikes through cycle lanes and this is reducing the number of cars on the roads.

- It's already begun.

-It's in Amsterdam.

4. How does it happen?

- People use the car and producing Carbon monoxide more than half of the city's air pollution.

5. Why does it happen?

- Many people use the car and make this pollution.

6. Who is doing polluting?

- People who use the car in the city.

7. Why should I care about air pollution?

- You should care about air pollution because you need fresh air to breathing for a good health.

8. How can it be stopped?

- Everyone can do it. For example: use the bicycles go to work if the office is near. it's maybe possible to reducing the number of car on the road.
